Tibicams, level 81!

Above is a pic of me being bored in Ankrahmun so I visited the DL ramps. Unfortunately I didn't capture my advance to level 81, but I have some cool new news for ya! Recently I hunted frost dragons and demons solo, getting a demon shield, demon dust, and p-amulet all for a cost of 10k. The frost dragons were a bit of a waste, but I got 100k exp an hour, and hunted them for 3 hours. I made tibicams of both of these, and although they're short they're something to watch if you have the time. The link for the demon cam is: http://tibicams.tibianetwork.com/en/movies/show/29694 and the frost dragon cam is: http://tibicams.tibianetwork.com/en/movies/show/29693 I hope you enjoy these cams. Anyways, in other news, I've been mana sitting a ton and having fun arguments with a friend about the vocation imbalancement of mages. If anyone agrees with those, say so! Also, if anyone supports my last idea for the tibia blog hosting website, tell me! I appreciate your imput and love to see comments to know that people are reading this stuff. It encourages me to post more. As always, have a good one. Peace!

I might make a website! More news!

First and foremost, as you can see I finally got level 80! Go go Behemoth Quest, Poi Quest and all the other Quests I need to do! Unfortunately though, I won't be able to do the Pits of Inferno Quest anytime soon. The problem is that they charge 300k a person, when the loot only maxes out to be 700k value as well as hard to sell at that price, and I want to keep my items anyways. Why would I wanna stand around for 8 hours just to spend 40% of my loot from the Quest on the Quest with no sense of accomplishment whatsoever? Even Luminera, a younger world, is cheaper than this. They've only gone two times so the items sell for a lot more, yet they charge 200k! Anyways, today my Guild the Valiant Warriors had a guild hunt, and it went pretty successfully. Venore dragons are always fun, besides the noobs that spend their lives there, always exp stealing, trying to steal loot, etc. Anyways, I'm currently training as you can see in the picture. Getting close for that 92 distance, I can't wait! It's depressing that each slime dies within 5-8 hits, but I guess thats life. To the title we go! I've been considering making a website dedicated to tibia blogs, hosting them all on one site, one convenient place, something like tibiadiaries.com. If anyone is interested in seeing this, please tell me so, and I may consider it further. It could be a good idea if I put my heart into it, and thats all for now. Thanks for reading!

Not on much today, but some thoughts!

It's very hard to not be bias when the vocation you're playing becomes incredibly easy...however because I just got done with my mage and noticed what it did to him, I can't help but say, damn this update was a bad idea. Sure, knights needed to be stronger. But I don't think this much, and I don't think this much for pallies either. We hunt cheaply as is, and now its twice as easy, well even more than twice because of how easy to attain weapons are. Twice the damage, and easy strong weapons. Whereas, mages only got downgraded, with no warning. Now I dunno how many of you have mages, but after a while they get incredibly boring. Expensive always, and no one ever wants to help you. If you're a sorc, you feel useless as is. To add to this, they take away burst arrows, and as you all know made damage mostly dependant on ml. Level 30 mages who mana sat all the time shouldn't be doing nearly as much as level 80's. Sure if a pally trains at a low level he can outdamage a higher level pally that can't, but training and mana sitting are completely different in my eyes. I wasn't excited to level and get new damages just for them to be taken away, and I think this is a horrible thing for any game to ever do. So the mages quit, and we have a bunch of paladins and knights running around. Rune prices shot up, and so did certain items that were dropped by monsters that mages primarily killed. I will continue this rant later, as you can see in the picture above though, hunting heroes at incredibly low cost. Enjoy!

Alright, Let's start this thing back up!

After several months of not updating this thing, I decided to start again. For the few people that read this, I'm going to expand my audience, and continue my story. Last time I left you guys off, on February 14th (oh so long ago, I know) I said that I had just recently gotten level 59 with Magic Level 53 on Luminera. This is a lot of information to include in one update, but after that, I went on to continue with levels, and make it to level 78 with Magic Level 62 at my peak. After dieing and having some friend problems on the server, I took a month break. When I came back, I died once again, and after taking a few days off, the Summer Update of 8.0 came out. Immediately finding out about this update, I knew I wouldn't like it. They were ruining mages, and making knights and paladins way too powerful. I already was incredibly bored of my mage, and the excessive never ending cost of getting levels was becoming..overwhelming. I missed my paladin, and went back to it on my favorite server, and my first server, Pacera. When I left my pally, he was level 65 with 85/66 because of deaths. The character was empty when I logged in, which in itself is a long story, but I've worked my way back up. Since then I've died once, yet gotten him to level 78 with near 91/76, getting close to Magic Level 20, yet again. I know I didn't write this very well, but I can promise updates to come, as I will explain my journeys to you all yet again. Thank you, and happy hunting!

Muahaha! Another update!

Ah, well I have the time to update this thing here again. I'm a bit lazy to update it regularly, and there's really not much I can say while still being entertaining. I don't seem to talk about my stuff in a cool way like some others, so I'll just throw it at ya. Magic levels as a mage-easy if we're talking non pvp. Levels as a mage-once again, easy. Therefore I'm looking at level 59 with ml 53, as it continues to jump up every now and then, I'm looking forward to level 60 for ue, and the three quests. It'll be cool, everythings working out on this server, and I'd like to say thank you to the creators of tibia for making this game, and also throw out a "you suck" for making it easier and harder at the same time (but moreso easier and less fun). Anyways, if anyone wants to play a mage they'll quickly learn that its fun, and pretty damn easy. Just don't do dumb things, and always be aware of your hp/mana in any situation. Think smart, as most of you would in real life, and that's all there is to it. Maybe do a little research on tibiawiki, and you should know how to do it. If anyone needs any ml, leveling tips while playing a mage on a non-pvp server, I'd be glad to help. Thank you for reading, and see ya later.

Some thoughts

This is another old picture, from the demon hunting with my friends. I gained level 54 today, and will have 55 before the night is over with a new Magic Level, but that's unimportant right now. There've been some things about this game I've been needing to address, mostly positive and maybe some negative. I'm not quite sure as to whether or not I've already talked about this in previous updates, but it needs to be said nonetheless. I don't have much time to right this right now, so I'm not gonna be taking my time and redoing anything, just saying it in its unedited entirety. This game gives us a lot, friends, community, fun memories, enjoyment, sadness, greed, desire, competition, the list simply goes on and on. I don't know about everyone else, but I feel that we all to some degree have each one of those things I listed within this game, to some degree no how small, no matter how big either. The differences between the balance of these things in turn keeps the balance of servers, friendships, etc. What I'm trying to say is that where ever you go you will encounter lurer's, thief's, people trying to get you killed, and much more in every world at some point in time. We all complain about these people, and stereotype people coming out of certain countries because of it, but is it fair? It's not fair to judge a group of people and assume they're all the same, or to hate because someones a certain race or from a certain background, however that's not my main point. The main point would be whether or not we want to admit it ourselves, we need these cheap players that have more greed than they do friends, they make it horrible for us at times, but imagine how this game would be without all of them. Let's just deny the fact that if we cut all of the cheap players out of the game that they wouldn't be replaced (which would happen). Let's say we all live in perfect gaming worlds, where everyone respects everyone and there's nothing to worry about. Is that what you want? Well it's certainly not what I'd want. How would the Pvp servers react? It'd be perfectville, and no one would want to play because they'd have nothing to worry about, nothing to complain about, and nothing to remember of significant value. Some of furthest away memories of tibia, when I started out I still remember. Why? Because of all the GS lures. Back then, I was playing Pacera, around two and a half years ago. One memory that stood out in particular, is me being a level 20 pally and just seeing a GS on my way to venore. I started running as the noob that I am, yet I still attacked him. I got him down to half hp and ran him for a while, but then I had to make a turn and thus, got owned. Those were some of the most exciting times, yet it was still hell to die, but when I look back it left an impact on me, helped me learn from my mistakes, and was pretty damn interesting never knowing when you could expect demondras running around there..or old widow or just a plain gs. So, I gotta run for now. I hope you all enjoyed my rant. Remember to play safe and enjoy your time, because it may not get much better, no matter how much you propose in the suggestion boards. Have a good day =)

Finally a NEW update!

I'm very sorry to anyone that reads this that I haven't updated it for so long. I have been really lazy lately, and haven't gotten around to updating it. Not much motivation to do so, I mean no replies to posts ever :P! Well, I guess that's okay for now, as this is pretty much undiscovered besides a few friends I've told about it. Anyways, I better update you on what's new info. As you can see in the pictures, I've gained level 53, and Magic level 50. The other picture is of an old memory of my first demon, and thethems first time blocking one. It was a few days before he had to go off to the air force, we'd promised we'd do it. Only 5 of the p-bolts hit, that was the highest hit, the 129. So, a lot has happened. Here's some more news: I've been hunting the Cult members quite often trying to get a voodoo skull. Me and Noble Mefoige have gotten a lot of Hymns, and the 4th ones sell good at 25k. We also got a Beholder Helmet while we were there, which we're still trying to sell. I've also hunted Dragon Lords a bit lately, and I'm learning that Edron Orcs are great for not only loot, but also fast exp and ml. Besides that I got a Stonehome house in Edron, as well as my friend getting hacked as news :(. It happened while we were over at Treasure Island, and the noob hacker didn't figure out how to get out for 45 minutes. I had to protect her from death for that period of time, and by the time the hacker learned how to get out other friends had come to the rescue. The hacker gained nothing out of it, not even equip or the glory of getting her killed, which I'm very satisfied with. A lot has happened since I last updated this, but there's too much to say and not even time to say it. I'm really starting to enjoy the results I'm getting, the friends I have, and the server I'm on. Expect another update shortly, but don't necessarily hope for it being tomorrow.

Two days worth, not much accomplished

As the title says, not much accomplished. Got a level and a magic level, and I'm on my way to being level 43. 19% percent to go, and then only two more levels and I'll be able to make those more profitable than hmm, sd runes. I met a few people recently, and one told me that I could be doing Edron Orcs. So, I tried it out and it turns out to be just as much money made as I spend, which is perfect and will be great if I get lucky with a warrior helmet. Tomorrow expect me to have level 44, and magic level 44. Have a good one, people!

The usual

Today I had the day off, because it's Martin Luther King day. Thanks to him for all that he contributed to the diminish of racism, and his other speeches addressing equality. He knew what was up, and he spoke it well. I had to go to an orthodontist appointment though, and it turned out to be rather irritating 1. because it was painful and 2. because I had to wake up early for it. So, anyways, on tibia I got ml 42, and level 41 in Dwarf Guards. That's about all there is to it, and I'm gonna take tomorrow off and maybe accomplish some more stuff. See ya~

Lot's of questing, and a little mana sitting

A lot of stuff got done today. We got a team and did the following quests: Orc Fort, Green Djinn, Mad Mage, and the Crown helmet/Noble Armor Quest. It all started around 1pm, and it continued on through a big portion of the day. I sure made a decent amount of runes today, and spent some as well. I had 17.5k the other day yet I somehow managed to get down to 2k now. But, it doesn't matter because I have over 20k worth of items to sell at the Djinns, and the useful Djinn quest done. I'm on my way to ML 41, I'll hit it for sure tomorrow, and I've been enjoying practicing my speed on pvp open tibia servers. The only problem with today is I didn't screenshot any of the quests. Therefore, I had to find a replacement. My friend keeps sending me in these pictures of him on tibia, and some of the experiences we've shared together. This is one of them. In the pic you see me, Grolam, as well as some other people I knew. Lord Romans and Field Surgeon were friends, and I knew Ray Diation, Exlore, Woba, and Exozer a little bit. He's one of the only remainable lurable monsters not in a raid, and he hits like a gs, heals, and runs fast as hell. So, everything went well today, and I'll work on leveling tomorrow..maybe. Peace~

Forgot to Update so Two days worth of info!

The first day I worked on leveling for a few hours, and then was told that we weren't going to do Green Djinn saturday, but instead sunday. Therefore I didn't level to 40 until the day after. During this time I gained magic level 40, and 41, as well as the two levels. My magic level seems to come as often as a level, which is good, but it's a bit expensive with all the fluids I use. So, tomorrow we're going on the Green Djinn Quest and I will provide screenshots for that, and the day after screenshots a friend sent to me. The past two days were successful days, and as each day passes, I can taste the success. Here I go to Annihilator...:)

Got some more levels, and another ML!

Today I woke up for school, and then found out it was a snow day. It was cool, because at first I didn't want to go so I went back to bed, then I got waken up being told it was a two hour delay. I decided not to go with the delay, and then I found out from a friend that it wasn't a delay, but an actual full day off. So I didn't do anything wrong :P. I woke up real early, and began leveling. At first I did Shadow Tomb, and then after a while of spending money and boredom, I went on to dwarf guards as other Nobles had suggested. It turned out to be a great idea. The spawns aren't very crowded, and there's a lot of respect deeper down there. The exp is pretty nice, and the loot is GREAT. I managed to get 8k from the hunt, after only spending 3.5k for fluids with a full level as well. While I was down there, Noble Mefoige came down to help me drag the bag back, and also helped me do Crusader Helmet Quest. There was someone already there doing the giant spiders, so it was pretty easy to do, and then we left, and I mana sat for the rest of the day after buying all but two spells up to my level. Today was good, and tomorrow my goal is level 40. So good luck to me, and good luck to you readers.

Still working on those levels

Today was pretty boring for the most part, as I leveled while I was very tired and not having much fun. I went across a few tombs looking for a vacated one, and finally found one in that of Shadow Tomb. Now, I'd never been to shadow tomb before, and it was suggested by a Noble so I decided to check it out. It was great exp, good for the fast levels and it gives just about as much as I spend on fluids, right back to me. So, I did that for a while until we went to hydras again. While at Hydras another mage leveled with me, and we used the assistance of a druid to heal the blocker. While we were at the Hydras, a level 30 Elder Druid comes up and starts harassing us because of something that happened when Bones and Minirshabaal came to Dara in the raid. He was mad because he thought Thallos was luring during that raid, when actually trying to block it safely. This mage then has the audacity to summon a fire devil, and then start attacking the Hydras. He continues this with other monsters when we get the summons killed, and then Mefoige comes in and the Elder Druid that had been bothering us magically died to a Hydra. A nice clean death, I might add. Then, the guy comes back and keeps doing it! So we decide to leave and part our ways. I got a full level over at hydras, and then I went to try the Edron dragon double spawn. Over there was a pally, but he didn't seem to mind me taking the spawn as he was doing another spawn underground. I must say, at first it seemed like everything was going smoothly, but if you don't bring healing runes things don't go so well for a sorcerer. Hell, even if you do bring the runes, its still costly. I used up 3bps of fluids and only gained 400gp in return. During this time it took each dragon 5-7 minutes to spawn, and they usually spawned at the same time to make matters worse. After I left, I went back to Shadow Tomb and got level 36. Things are going good, but I'm definitely not enjoying it right now with all this powergaming. That's it for now, good night people.

New challenge, New level

Today I wasn't really on for that long at all. I was at a friends for most of the day, and stopped by around 11 to get level 34. Earlier, when I was a little bit, I found out that my guild is doing the Green Djinn quest during the weekend. To do this quest I need to be level 40, so the new challenge is me getting level 40 by saturday or sunday. Keep in mind, I have school daily and this is 350k+ exp to get in that short amount of time as a low level mage. I know I'm going to do it in time, especially with the help of mana fluids, but I surely wont be enjoying it. That's all for today, stay tuned people!

New Update! Tibias 10th Anniversary!

Today I just gained magic level 37, and worked on leveling for a little bit. I had a dentist appointment and I had to leave for that. It wasn't very fun, but when I got back I enjoyed the new update festivities. Most monsters over around 70 exp dropped these cool bags. They're called surprise bags and you open them to get a special item. It can be balloons, a piggy bank, certain cakes, a party hat, as well as many other things including the rare Guido dolls. I think it was a great idea to implement this, because just like the Christmas Goblins it got me playing and actually having fun while gaining rare items, and gold. I'm happy with what tibia has been doing lately, although I'm unhappy about the updates before 7.9. Because I didn't take any pictures, the above is a random picture of my friend leveling off of dragon lords with some other mages. I better get to bed now, sleep is of the essence.

New Magic level, New level, the usual!

Today was just another day I spent primarily mana sitting, with a spice of leveling. As you can see, I gained level 33 today, and in a hurry. It was getting rather irritating with what time it was getting to, and I was simply tired of hunting period. When I went into stone tomb originally, a level 91 Master Sorcerer was already there saying "I'm here" and I left quickly. But before I did, I asked him why he would hunt in a place like this and he replied somewhere along the lines of "I'm broke and this isn't bad gp." After that I decided to go into the larva/scarab cave close to stone tomb, and I did that for a while until I wanted to relax again. Then, I went back to stone tomb finding all the monsters spawned, therefore it was all mine. I had about 40% to go, and 3 bps of fluids so I just went crazy with vis and my wand, trying to get the level as fast as possible. From this I found out that if I try hard enough in stone tomb I can get 1% per minute. Making runes is fun, and with 2 levels until invis it's just making me happier and happier. Tomorrow marks a new update to celebrate tibia's 10th anniversary, and I'm surely looking forward to it. Each person has a 1 in 250 chance in getting 3 months of premium free, as well as other festivities. As the day turns to night, I better get to bed for another annoying day of school. Have a good day, people.

More forbidden lands, with a spice of mana sitting

I started out today just mana sitting, and then went off to leveling in stone tomb. When near my level, I get a message from Thallos asking me to come to forbidden lands with them so that they could have a good hunt. I decided to do it, it's the least I can do. I didn't particularly like the place but they deserved it after all they've done for me, and I was needed so I did the job. It turned out to be a lot better this time than last time. The loot sucked, but I gained some solid mage learning skill and some experience. After all of this I'm now level 32 with 76% to go and ml 35 with 55% to go, so it all is working out nicely. Sadly during the hunt only a giant sword and warrior helmet were looted, it being a 4+ hour hunt and only those in a really dangerous area. It's believed by many that the more dangerous the area that a creature is in, the better the likelihood of good loot. All in all, now I can make explosion runes and in a few short levels I can buy invis and start hunting Necromancers. Tomorrow I may be going on the Green Djinn Quest, so keep your hand off that remote, stay right here on my site :)

Dwarf mine exploration, questing

Today was a pretty good day for me once I got home. First I mana sat for a while, and then leveled a little bit while in Ankrahmun. Level 30 meant that I could do the Paradox Tower quest and repay Noble Thallos the money I owed him. So, I started the quest and completed it in around two hours with his help in Mintwallin and POH. After paying him back, I decided to make HMM runes for a while until I eventually went hunting in the dwarf mines. I only hunted there for an hour and a half yet I managed to get around 45% of a level, while gaining lots of loot. The strategy I used was the common mage level 27+ strategy: summoning Monks to own the Dwarf Guards while using a weak wand/rod to get a little more experience points while maintaining mana. It proved to be profitable, as well as good exp but It was also a tad dangerous and hard to set up. If you don't want to hunt there for a long time, it's a waste of the fluids used just for getting down there originally. Also, if you dont want to push the Monks around all the time because it slows things down, you have to lure the Dwarf Guard which commonly means although he passes the Monks and they attack him, he'll most likely continue on his path to attack you while you're running. This can get rather messy and result in 3 Dwarf Guards targetting you in a small area, which happened to me once. All in all it was great because I gained exp and paid off my debt. I can't wait to start making money! Yeah!!!

Hydras, mana sitting, and thoughts

Today I had the pleasure of briefly hunting Hydras with some friends. During the hunt Thallos managed to loot BOH, and I got about 100% during the hunt. A cool Royal Paladin joined us to gain some exp, and it was all interesting and enjoyable. After that Thallos, being the knight, had to leave to go to the movies. We all left and went our own separate ways, as I ran through Ankrahmun getting ready to mana sit. So I mana sat all through the rest of my hours before bed, while managing to sell the 16 bps of HMM I'd already made. The prices have gotten rather depressing, only finding one buyer after many yells and only at a rate of 1.4k a backpack. However, the Ultimate Healing Runes kept their stable 3k, the sorcerers are a bit screwed with these new prices. While mana sitting I looked upon tibianews.net only to see the Picture of the day being someone gaining 10 million experience points in one day. This inspired me, as my goal is level 150 in one year, a massive 54 million experience points. In other news my weekend is free (like usual) so I have all the time in the world to get that 54 million exp. Every one of my in-game friends has been very supportive in helping me and I thank them very much for it. Have a good night anyone who reads it, and expect it to get more interesting as it goes along.

Yet another death, forbidden lands hunting

Today was both a good and bad day. For a while after I got home, I mana sat. Then, around 5pm, me and some other nobles worked on the banuta quest. Mefoige and Thallos had already done it, and they were helping me and Darinak complete the quest so that we could go there. So, we go through the boring 3 hour quest going back and forth through towns and back to port hope in a somewhat dangerous area for a level 28 sorcerer. So, most of the time I got an escourt, except for a few, and one of those times I just so happened to die to a carni and the apes. I immediately got my stuff back with the help of both Mefoige and Thallos, and we continued the quest until we were able to travel to forbidden lands. Me, Thallos, and Darinak went over there and were met by another high level knight, a mage, and Mefoige the level 84 RP. They all came along so that we could get the item necessary to continue the quest, and then everyone but me, Thallos, and Darinak left. Thallos had a plan for how we were going to hunt just one level 82 EK with a level 58 ED and a level 28 MS with tons of behemoths, giant spiders, and hydras around. The plan was to summon ds and just keep on resing. It worked pretty nicely but in an area like the forbidden lands it's really hard to stay safe no matter what. The hunt went rather nicely and I almost gained level 29, already regaining level 28 and ml 32 beforehand. Once we began to run out of mana fluids, we ran back so that we could leave, when it was starting to get late. Met by a few giant spiders and behemoths, we killed them while losing and re-summoning DS, only to get the behemoth on me right when my mana shield wore off. Amazingly, he hit me twice and the second time dropped me down to around 20hp. After that I mana shielded and Thallos used the challenge spell to get him off of me. We went back, happy with the success of the hunt in the forbidden lands (everyone lived, that was good enough). After that, I decided to head to bed, ready for another day of school. If you're wondering about the picture at the top of the screen it's an old picture from me and Armored Patrol playing around in POH in the 7.7 update a few months before I left. Have a good night everyone, and enjoy your tibia lives!

Wasn't here to play

Today I wasn't really on much besides for a little early in the morning and for a half hour before I went to bed. It was a little bit of somewhat decent mana sitting time I guess, and during the day I was busy with friends and school and all of that. Tomorrow will be more dedicated to leveling and working hard, yeah! ML 32 is right around the corner, 2% to go! Buh bye for now.

Mana sitting, mana sitting, and more mana sitting

Today was quite a boring day as you may assume from the title. Woke up, mana sat, and that's just about it besides the short periods of time regaining soul. I managed to end up with 12 bps of hmm, a good start that's going to be continuing. Got ml 30, then 31, while working on 32. Originally I was going to hunt hydras with a friend but he had to cancel. So I mana sat my heart out, while listening to music, thinking, and checking out quests and information on tibia. I thought about some of the people of the past..I miss them all so much. Anyways, not much else to say today, everyone have a good enjoyable night. Buh byes, more to come.
