Tibicams, level 81!

Above is a pic of me being bored in Ankrahmun so I visited the DL ramps. Unfortunately I didn't capture my advance to level 81, but I have some cool new news for ya! Recently I hunted frost dragons and demons solo, getting a demon shield, demon dust, and p-amulet all for a cost of 10k. The frost dragons were a bit of a waste, but I got 100k exp an hour, and hunted them for 3 hours. I made tibicams of both of these, and although they're short they're something to watch if you have the time. The link for the demon cam is: http://tibicams.tibianetwork.com/en/movies/show/29694 and the frost dragon cam is: http://tibicams.tibianetwork.com/en/movies/show/29693 I hope you enjoy these cams. Anyways, in other news, I've been mana sitting a ton and having fun arguments with a friend about the vocation imbalancement of mages. If anyone agrees with those, say so! Also, if anyone supports my last idea for the tibia blog hosting website, tell me! I appreciate your imput and love to see comments to know that people are reading this stuff. It encourages me to post more. As always, have a good one. Peace!

I might make a website! More news!

First and foremost, as you can see I finally got level 80! Go go Behemoth Quest, Poi Quest and all the other Quests I need to do! Unfortunately though, I won't be able to do the Pits of Inferno Quest anytime soon. The problem is that they charge 300k a person, when the loot only maxes out to be 700k value as well as hard to sell at that price, and I want to keep my items anyways. Why would I wanna stand around for 8 hours just to spend 40% of my loot from the Quest on the Quest with no sense of accomplishment whatsoever? Even Luminera, a younger world, is cheaper than this. They've only gone two times so the items sell for a lot more, yet they charge 200k! Anyways, today my Guild the Valiant Warriors had a guild hunt, and it went pretty successfully. Venore dragons are always fun, besides the noobs that spend their lives there, always exp stealing, trying to steal loot, etc. Anyways, I'm currently training as you can see in the picture. Getting close for that 92 distance, I can't wait! It's depressing that each slime dies within 5-8 hits, but I guess thats life. To the title we go! I've been considering making a website dedicated to tibia blogs, hosting them all on one site, one convenient place, something like tibiadiaries.com. If anyone is interested in seeing this, please tell me so, and I may consider it further. It could be a good idea if I put my heart into it, and thats all for now. Thanks for reading!

Not on much today, but some thoughts!

It's very hard to not be bias when the vocation you're playing becomes incredibly easy...however because I just got done with my mage and noticed what it did to him, I can't help but say, damn this update was a bad idea. Sure, knights needed to be stronger. But I don't think this much, and I don't think this much for pallies either. We hunt cheaply as is, and now its twice as easy, well even more than twice because of how easy to attain weapons are. Twice the damage, and easy strong weapons. Whereas, mages only got downgraded, with no warning. Now I dunno how many of you have mages, but after a while they get incredibly boring. Expensive always, and no one ever wants to help you. If you're a sorc, you feel useless as is. To add to this, they take away burst arrows, and as you all know made damage mostly dependant on ml. Level 30 mages who mana sat all the time shouldn't be doing nearly as much as level 80's. Sure if a pally trains at a low level he can outdamage a higher level pally that can't, but training and mana sitting are completely different in my eyes. I wasn't excited to level and get new damages just for them to be taken away, and I think this is a horrible thing for any game to ever do. So the mages quit, and we have a bunch of paladins and knights running around. Rune prices shot up, and so did certain items that were dropped by monsters that mages primarily killed. I will continue this rant later, as you can see in the picture above though, hunting heroes at incredibly low cost. Enjoy!

Alright, Let's start this thing back up!

After several months of not updating this thing, I decided to start again. For the few people that read this, I'm going to expand my audience, and continue my story. Last time I left you guys off, on February 14th (oh so long ago, I know) I said that I had just recently gotten level 59 with Magic Level 53 on Luminera. This is a lot of information to include in one update, but after that, I went on to continue with levels, and make it to level 78 with Magic Level 62 at my peak. After dieing and having some friend problems on the server, I took a month break. When I came back, I died once again, and after taking a few days off, the Summer Update of 8.0 came out. Immediately finding out about this update, I knew I wouldn't like it. They were ruining mages, and making knights and paladins way too powerful. I already was incredibly bored of my mage, and the excessive never ending cost of getting levels was becoming..overwhelming. I missed my paladin, and went back to it on my favorite server, and my first server, Pacera. When I left my pally, he was level 65 with 85/66 because of deaths. The character was empty when I logged in, which in itself is a long story, but I've worked my way back up. Since then I've died once, yet gotten him to level 78 with near 91/76, getting close to Magic Level 20, yet again. I know I didn't write this very well, but I can promise updates to come, as I will explain my journeys to you all yet again. Thank you, and happy hunting!

Muahaha! Another update!

Ah, well I have the time to update this thing here again. I'm a bit lazy to update it regularly, and there's really not much I can say while still being entertaining. I don't seem to talk about my stuff in a cool way like some others, so I'll just throw it at ya. Magic levels as a mage-easy if we're talking non pvp. Levels as a mage-once again, easy. Therefore I'm looking at level 59 with ml 53, as it continues to jump up every now and then, I'm looking forward to level 60 for ue, and the three quests. It'll be cool, everythings working out on this server, and I'd like to say thank you to the creators of tibia for making this game, and also throw out a "you suck" for making it easier and harder at the same time (but moreso easier and less fun). Anyways, if anyone wants to play a mage they'll quickly learn that its fun, and pretty damn easy. Just don't do dumb things, and always be aware of your hp/mana in any situation. Think smart, as most of you would in real life, and that's all there is to it. Maybe do a little research on tibiawiki, and you should know how to do it. If anyone needs any ml, leveling tips while playing a mage on a non-pvp server, I'd be glad to help. Thank you for reading, and see ya later.

Some thoughts

This is another old picture, from the demon hunting with my friends. I gained level 54 today, and will have 55 before the night is over with a new Magic Level, but that's unimportant right now. There've been some things about this game I've been needing to address, mostly positive and maybe some negative. I'm not quite sure as to whether or not I've already talked about this in previous updates, but it needs to be said nonetheless. I don't have much time to right this right now, so I'm not gonna be taking my time and redoing anything, just saying it in its unedited entirety. This game gives us a lot, friends, community, fun memories, enjoyment, sadness, greed, desire, competition, the list simply goes on and on. I don't know about everyone else, but I feel that we all to some degree have each one of those things I listed within this game, to some degree no how small, no matter how big either. The differences between the balance of these things in turn keeps the balance of servers, friendships, etc. What I'm trying to say is that where ever you go you will encounter lurer's, thief's, people trying to get you killed, and much more in every world at some point in time. We all complain about these people, and stereotype people coming out of certain countries because of it, but is it fair? It's not fair to judge a group of people and assume they're all the same, or to hate because someones a certain race or from a certain background, however that's not my main point. The main point would be whether or not we want to admit it ourselves, we need these cheap players that have more greed than they do friends, they make it horrible for us at times, but imagine how this game would be without all of them. Let's just deny the fact that if we cut all of the cheap players out of the game that they wouldn't be replaced (which would happen). Let's say we all live in perfect gaming worlds, where everyone respects everyone and there's nothing to worry about. Is that what you want? Well it's certainly not what I'd want. How would the Pvp servers react? It'd be perfectville, and no one would want to play because they'd have nothing to worry about, nothing to complain about, and nothing to remember of significant value. Some of furthest away memories of tibia, when I started out I still remember. Why? Because of all the GS lures. Back then, I was playing Pacera, around two and a half years ago. One memory that stood out in particular, is me being a level 20 pally and just seeing a GS on my way to venore. I started running as the noob that I am, yet I still attacked him. I got him down to half hp and ran him for a while, but then I had to make a turn and thus, got owned. Those were some of the most exciting times, yet it was still hell to die, but when I look back it left an impact on me, helped me learn from my mistakes, and was pretty damn interesting never knowing when you could expect demondras running around there..or old widow or just a plain gs. So, I gotta run for now. I hope you all enjoyed my rant. Remember to play safe and enjoy your time, because it may not get much better, no matter how much you propose in the suggestion boards. Have a good day =)

Finally a NEW update!

I'm very sorry to anyone that reads this that I haven't updated it for so long. I have been really lazy lately, and haven't gotten around to updating it. Not much motivation to do so, I mean no replies to posts ever :P! Well, I guess that's okay for now, as this is pretty much undiscovered besides a few friends I've told about it. Anyways, I better update you on what's new info. As you can see in the pictures, I've gained level 53, and Magic level 50. The other picture is of an old memory of my first demon, and thethems first time blocking one. It was a few days before he had to go off to the air force, we'd promised we'd do it. Only 5 of the p-bolts hit, that was the highest hit, the 129. So, a lot has happened. Here's some more news: I've been hunting the Cult members quite often trying to get a voodoo skull. Me and Noble Mefoige have gotten a lot of Hymns, and the 4th ones sell good at 25k. We also got a Beholder Helmet while we were there, which we're still trying to sell. I've also hunted Dragon Lords a bit lately, and I'm learning that Edron Orcs are great for not only loot, but also fast exp and ml. Besides that I got a Stonehome house in Edron, as well as my friend getting hacked as news :(. It happened while we were over at Treasure Island, and the noob hacker didn't figure out how to get out for 45 minutes. I had to protect her from death for that period of time, and by the time the hacker learned how to get out other friends had come to the rescue. The hacker gained nothing out of it, not even equip or the glory of getting her killed, which I'm very satisfied with. A lot has happened since I last updated this, but there's too much to say and not even time to say it. I'm really starting to enjoy the results I'm getting, the friends I have, and the server I'm on. Expect another update shortly, but don't necessarily hope for it being tomorrow.
